Are you struggling with feeding your baby?

From the moment we see that faint pink line, every momma starts dreaming about what kind of mom we are going to be. We imagine our perfect delivery plan to bring our precious babes into the world and we even decide how we plan on feeding them.

Sometimes those plans play out seamlessly, but oftentimes they do not. We never imagine in our wildest dreams that feeding our babies could become difficult. We ask ourselves “what am I doing wrong”? We get paranoid and anxious as we don’t understand why something seemingly natural can be so darn HARD.

Let us be the first to tell you that feeding your baby IS hard whether it be from breast or bottle. It is one of the hardest things we will do as a mother.

Don’t become discouraged. We are here to help. Brenna Hoisington - MS CCC-SLP, is our main infant feeding specialist at our clinic. One thing she would like parents to know is that you are NOT alone in your feeding journey. Brenna has a unique blend of significant years experience as well as time spent expanding her education in early infant feeding. However, her best education has been breastfeeding FIVE babies of her own. Brenna has a passion for helping mothers identify and meet their goals such as: getting your baby to eat functionally at the breast or from the bottle, help increase weight gain, and identify if tongue ties or differences in neurodevelopment play a role in your infant’s feeding difficulties.

Brenna is an ambassador for The Breathe Institute and has completed the following trainings: {Sleep, Breathing, and Functional Frenuloplasty with Dr. Zahgi, Breathe Baby with Dr. Chelsea Pinto, Neuromuscular Re-Education in Pediatrics Certificate, and completion of The Thompson Method for Breastfeeding, SOS Feeding, Beckman Oral Motor Feeding Program.}

Parenting our littles truly DOES take a village. We would be delighted to be a part of yours in improving your feeding goals for you and your child.
